I doubt that you would actually sit there and read this whole thing, not with that typical American attention span of yours... but I digress. . . .
It really scares me that there are individuals that believe this blog is from Sarah Palin herself or that this was created by an avid supporter. Really? Are you serious? If you would take just five minutes to actually read or watch anything on this blog you would clearly find an answer.
It scares me because I have received these questions/responses from individuals who have the power to vote, many of whom are grumpy conservatives. This is an unfortunate issues because if they can't even figure this blog out I can't even imagine what they do in their efforts, or lack thereof, in the personal research needed to properly support a presidential candidate or to be an overall informed voter.
Maybe I'm being too harsh and maybe people are really confused by this blog and what it promotes. This can hold true if you actually sit down and rationalize how ridiculous this candidate is. That all the postings with its misspellings, horrible but accurate vernacular, and trademark Palin short and simple responses could really be her. That all the videos and articles that highlight her shortcomings with attached witty (but sometimes purposely confusing) remarks could really be our possible VP. I guess now I see why people are so confused, that the absurdity of this blog truly reflects the reality of this woman and you are confused. For this, my humble apologies.
I feel as though this is symbolic of the extremes of our political system from both hard core liberals and right wing conservatives- I've had more encounters on Vox with the latter and the funny thing is that they wouldn't even consider themselves that far right on the political spectrum. Both are sucking information up at face value without digging deeper and not questioning anything but the other side, which is highly reflective of those who support McCain/Palin on Vox (most negative comments come from these rabid supporters). I place high regards to John McCain for finally saying to the blood lust mob at his rally: No Barack Obama is not an Arab, he is a good person and a good American but I happen to think I'll do a better job. . .
.
As Collin Powell stated in responsing to assults that Obama is Muslim: Is there something wrong with being a Muslim in this country? The answer's no, that's not America. Is there something wrong with some seven-year-old Muslim-American kid believing that he or she could be president? Yet, I have heard senior members of my own party drop the suggestion, 'He's a Muslim and he might be associated terrorists.' This is not the way we should be doing it in America. . .
Just because Palin appeared on SNL to try to counter the frighteningly accurate skits doesn't mean that this is what's happening on Vox. As Seth Green from Family Guy said when asked if he would do a spoof of Sarah Palin on his show, he replied: "She is a spoof of herself." I understand the power of the internet and sites like facebook and myspace where a spoof wouldn't be possible but this is definitely not one of them. Please learn to validate your news sources.
Lastly, stop posting that "this is not a sarah palin blog." That should be obvious enough, the profile picture is of Tina Fey for crying out loud and it just shows your ignorance in actually not talking a second to examine anything that comes across your eyes. If that's the case, I have some real estate in Florida I want to sell you. This blog is very simple, and is not intended to be a hoax like some people on VOX love to think (what a lively bunch).
And no, the FBI will not be knocking down my door. Unless we forget the first amendment and the right of free speech but what do I know? Something about parody being form of speech protected by the first amendment as a "distorted imitation" of an original work for the purpose of commenting on it. But again, what do I know. And if this blog bothers you that much, block me like the infamous TedWest does with any dissenting option, it's really not that hard. Maybe I'll come back to post after my landslide victory.
XOXOXO,
S.P.

I had to. Damn, gotcha media.
Where do you plan on watching today's historic election? Are you prepared for a celebration or a disappointment?
Celebration! Drill baby, drill!!
I'll be with John (ugh, I have to) and trying to avoid the gotcha media if we aren't drilling....

If there is any hope of winning, it's because of me. I want to talk straight to the American people, I want to talk alone- without John around. 2012 here I come.
The election is a week from today, who are you going to vote for?
Shoot. Palin/McCain all the way!
